About us

A Greek food sourcing company, built around direct producer access.

theGreex is a Greek food sourcing and export company based in Athens. We work with a selected network of Greek producers on behalf of international importers, distributors, retailers and foodservice buyers, and stay accountable for the programme from first sample to landed shipment.

Who we are

theGreex operates between international buyers and Greek production. Our team selects and qualifies producers, negotiates the specification, follows quality at origin and manages the export mechanics, with more than 20 years of Greek food export experience behind the process.

The portfolio covers olive oil, table olives, feta and dairy, strained yoghurt, antipasti, dips, spreads, jams, chutneys, vinegars, pasta, sauces, fruit and premium delicacies, for branded retail, foodservice and private label programmes.

Part of our network consists of regional producers with no export structure of their own. They make the product; we handle specification, documentation, packaging and logistics, which is how buyers reach production they would not find through conventional trade channels.

One commercial contact holds the whole file, from sample and artwork approval to certificates, labelling compliance and the loading date.

Who we serve

Importers, retail category buyers, distributors and foodservice operators who buy on specification and consistency rather than on lowest quoted price.

Our main markets today are Central and Northern Europe and the GCC, with active projects into Japan, and North America on the horizon.
