The premium delicacies range brings together the top of every Greek category: PDO honey, saffron from Kozani, truffle-infused specialties, aged vinegars, single-estate olive oils and gifting formats built around them.
For a buyer, this is a curated tier rather than a commodity range. It works best as a gifting programme, a specialty-store assortment or the top of the ladder in an existing Greek shelf.
History
'Delicacy' as a curated category is a modern retail construction, but each product in it has its own long history: Kozani saffron since the 17th century, PDO honey since ancient beekeeping, truffle harvesting more recent but growing fast in central Greece.
Origin
Kozani saffron (Krokos Kozanis PDO) from western Macedonia, thyme and pine honey from Crete and the north, truffles from Meteora and Grevena, single-estate olive oils from the Peloponnese and Crete.
Production
Small-batch and often single-operator. Hand-harvested saffron stigmas, single-varietal honey extraction with minimal filtration, whole-truffle preservation in oil or salt, single-estate olive oil with full traceability to the grove.

Certifications
Depending on the sub-range we work with producers holding IFS, BRCGS, ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000 food-safety certifications, alongside PDO, PGI, Organic (BIO) and Halal / Kosher where relevant to your premium delicacies programme. Certificates and specification sheets are shared before order confirmation, not after.

Export information
We export premium delicacies from Greece to buyers across the EU, the United Kingdom, the GCC (Saudi Arabia, UAE and neighbours), with active projects in Japan and North America. Shipments run ex works, FCA, FOB or CIF according to your Incoterms preference, consolidated with other Greek products where a full container is not yet on the table.
Buyer tips
For anything in this tier, insist on traceability and, where relevant, PDO/PGI certification. Gifting packaging is not optional here, plain jars sell as pantry, presentation packaging sells as gift, and the price gap between the two is significant.
